2018 Programs & Special Events
Friday, September 7: Barnyard Concert - Brady Goss. Described at an early age as a piano phenom, Brady is now recognized as an electrifying entertainer. Influences such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Hank Williams, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and John Mayer might characterize him as Blues, 50's Rock 'n Roll, Classic Country or Classic Rock, But Brady's own unique improvisational style makes him truly one of a kind with a style all his own.
Saturday, September 15: Geology Tour - Silver Falls with tour guide Daina Hardisty. $48 per person. Call for your reservation today. 503-661-2164.
A note from our tour guide: "Although you may have visited Silver Falls State Park in the past, we not only will discover some awesome geology on some short hikes at Silver Falls State Park but we will also visit some amazing Geologic location on the way down. One location not even Dr. Scott Burns had heard of prior to my "discovery" of the site of a health resort associated with naturally carbonated mineral springs. This was even one of the first bottled waters for sale in Oregon. Not only an fascinating geologic location but an awesome historical location. This location alone is well worth the trip. We will also visit the site of the recent local earthquakes at Scott's Mills vicinity. Soooo... if you think you've been here and seen it all, I just led this field trip for the National Association of Geoscientists Association Pacific Northwest Chapter and they loved it!"
